FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: rotating oven consists of cylinder case resting on support rollers via bands, of double drive of two electric engines and two reducers, of two under-crown gears, of one crown wheel, of feeding tube for supply of burned cement clinker, of head for supply of fuel and air into oven, of chain filter-heater, of heat exchangers, and of fire bar-shearing cooler. The oven is also equipped with an installation for water cooling and with central lubricating system. The case mounted horizontally is made out of at least one strip rolled into cylinder coils interconnected along lengthwise edges. The strip is bent along bend lines arranged at angle to lengthwise edges of the strip, thus forming unidirectional screw lines and screw surfaces along external and internal surfaces in form of pockets of polygonal shape. Distance between bend lines is equal to length of each element of polygon.

EFFECT: expanded process functionality, increased intensity of heat exchange and simplified operation of oven.
