FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: furnace includes housing supported through bandages by support rollers, dual drive consisting of two electric motors and two reduction gears, two under-ring gears, one ring wheel, supply pipe of slurry for roasting of cement clinker, head for supply of fuel and air to the furnace, chain filter-heater, heat exchangers, grate-shearing cooler, water cooling plant and central lubrication system. Housing is installed horizontally and made of three or more trapezoidal strips twisted along screw line in longitudinal direction and bent in transverse direction along screw line on conical mandrel. Strips have different dimensions as to width with their increase along the length of housing from loading to unloading, with formation along the housing perimetre of three or more spiral grooves and screw lines with variable increasing pitch from loading to unloading. Strips form internal curved surfaces of convex or concave shape relative to housing rotation axis with curvature centres outside or inside the housing.

EFFECT: enlarging manufacturing capabilities, simplifying operation and intensifying heat exchange.
