FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: furnace includes housing, dual drive, slurry feed pipe for roasting of cement clinker, head for supply of fuel and air to the furnace, water cooling plant and central lubrication system. Housing is installed horizontally and made of guide elements in the form of three rectangular strips twisted in longitudinal direction relative to its symmetry axis, bent along screw lines in transverse direction and bent at an angle to opposite sides along notches made at an angle of 60° to each other and to longitudinal edges of strips so that equilateral triangles are formed throughout the strip length. Strips are connected to each other along longitudinal edges at an angle so that three broken screw surfaces and three broken screw grooves of the main direction are formed along inner perimetre for slurry movement for roasting of cement clinker from loading to unloading and two broken screw surfaces and two screw grooves of opposite direction for slurry movement for cement clinker roasting in reverse direction from unloading to loading.
EFFECT: enlarging technological capabilities, simplifying the furnace operation and increasing heat exchange intensity.
