FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: digital converter of parameters of inductive sensors comprising a pulse generating unit, the output of which is connected to inputs of current amplifiers of the measuring and reference arms of the device, and outputs of the amplifiers are connected to LC loops of detecting elements of the measuring and reference arms and to inputs of the first and second analogue-to-digital transducers of a microcontroller. The pulse generating unit is based on a microcontroller which is adapted to convert oscillation frequency to an output signal and is programmed to convert voltage across the LC circuit of the detecting element to a digital code, followed by spectrum calculation and determining frequency of the fundamental harmonic, and also adapted to repeat the said measurement process.

EFFECT: high accuracy of inductive sensor parameter converter.
