FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: to obtain a radio a radio-navigation signal which is modulated by a composite oscillatory signal, the composite oscillatory signal contains a linear combination with real-valued coefficients of the component BOC (n1, m) and the component BOC (n2, m), wherein n1 is different from n2, and correlation is realised between the local oscillatory signal and the composite oscillatory signal during a time interval with duration T. The local oscillatory signal is a binary oscillatory signal generated during the said time interval using at least one segment of the oscillatory signal BOC (n1, m) and at least one segment of the oscillatory signal BOC (n2, m). At least one segment BOC (n1, m) has total duration αT, where the value α lies strictly between 0 and 1, and at least one segment of the signal BOC (n2, m) has total duration (1-α)T.
EFFECT: obtaining a radio-navigation signal which is modulated by a composite propagating signal.
