FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture. The method includes finely dispersed overhead irrigation in most thermally stressed hours. Additional finely dispersed overhead irrigation of a section is carried out with supply of 1-2 m3 of water per hectare in the morning hours, 1.5-2 hours after sunrise, when air temperature increases to a level that causes dew evaporation, and in the evening hours after sunset.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to considerably reduce temperature stress in plants by displacement of time for stress condition occurrence and to reduce water consumption for plants transpiration, and also to save moisture reserves in soil.
