BINARY IMMUNOLIPOSOMAL NANOSYSTEM OF TARGETED DELIVERY TO CONNEXIN -43 POSITIVE TUMOUR CELLS Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61K39/00

Abstract RU 2422154 C2

FIELD: medicine, pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of molecular biology. Claimed is binary system of targeted delivery of liposomes to connexin-43 (Cx-43) positive tumour cells. System includes biotinylated monoclonal antibodies to extracellular fragment of connexin-43 (first component) and pegylated liposomal containers with diameter 70-100 nm, covalently bound with streptavidin (second component). Successive introduction into live system of first and second components of binary system results in selective delivery of liposomes to Cx-43-positive cells by specific binding of biotinylated antibodies with extracellular fragment Cx-43 on cytolemma of glioma cells and following formation of streptavidin-biotin complex.

EFFECT: system makes it possible to elaborate novel anti-tumour medications of directed type of action.
