FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: installation for production of compressed gas consists of electrolyser immersed into basin, of pipeline connected with electrolyser for withdrawal of gas generated at electrolysis, of chamber for gas compression, and also of device designed for gas outlet installed in upper part of said chamber. The installation is equipped with a reservoir opened in its upper part. The reservoir is positioned in the basin with its upper part above level of water in the basin. The electrolyser is assembled in a bottom part of the reservoir and is equipped with the pipeline for supply of water into it. The pipeline is ejected through the reservoir to depth of the basin. The chamber for gas compression is open in its lower part and closed in an upper part of a tank located in the basin with its upper part above level of water in the basin. The pipeline for withdrawal of gas generated at electrolysis is ejected from the reservoir and is positioned in the tank so, that its ejecting section is placed in the tank above level of water in the basin.
EFFECT: simplified design of installation.
