FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of polydisperse systems (emulsions, suspensions) by mechanical filters and may be used for water treatment. Proposed method consists in filtration by means of several filtration webs separated by clearances. Polydisperse system is fed into feed zone upstream of first filtration web, flow is directed obliquely to web surface thorough filtration webs to make it flow over web surfaces and through filtration holes. Web filtration hole size equals or exceeds maximum size of disperse particles that make polydisperse system disperse phase. Accumulators of filtration different-dispersity products are arranged in glow discharge area at different distances from feed direction.
EFFECT: simplified design, longer life.
