SUBSTANCE: object detection unit detects an object in an image captured by an image capturing unit. A determination unit determines whether the object is present on the image, for which the image capturing condition is set. An assignment unit determines the object for which the image capturing condition is set before receiving an image capture instruction from the user when the determination unit result is true. A notification unit notifies the user on the object for which the image capturing condition is set, determined by the assignment unit before receiving the image capture instruction. A receiving unit receives the image capture instruction from the user. A setting unit sets the image capturing condition based on the object determined by the assignment unit when the determination unit result is true, and based on the object detection unit result after reception of the image capture instruction by the receiving unit, when the determination unit result is false. A unit for actual image capturing controls the image capturing unit for actual image capturing.

EFFECT: determination of an object for which an image capturing condition must be set, after receiving an image capture instruction and setting the capture condition.
