FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: called subscriber (B-Tln) disposes both telecommunications terminal (TE2) and a computerised workplace (COM2) for electronic messages. Electronic messages, when transferred from a calling subscriber (A-Tln) to a called subscriber (B-Tln), are accompanied with theme codes of identification (1, 2, 3). When establishing a communication (8, 9, 13) between a calling subscriber (A-Tln) and a called subscriber (B-Tln) in a communications network (KN1), the calling subscriber (A-Tln) indicates a theme code of identification (5). Then this theme code of identification is sent together with calling information (6, 7, 9), and from the communications network (KN1) it is sent further to the computerised workplace (COM2) of the called subscriber (B-Tln) (10, 11). The theme code of identification is analysed at the computerised workplace (COM2), afterwards messages with this theme code of identification are visualised with the called subscriber (B-Tln) (12).

EFFECT: making it easier for a called subscriber to search for electronic messages at the computerised workplace using theme communications in a communications network.
