SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely a fluid drug infusion device. The device comprises a fluid tank coupled with an outlet pipe, an infusion system, a bar code reader connected to a self-contained radio channel unit connected with a portable nurse pager, and a computer connected to a monitor and an event logging. The outlet pipe is connected to the infusion system through coupled fluid flow sensor and an infusion speed controller. The fluid tank is connected to an automatic pressure system coupled with the self-contained radio channel unit. Thus the unit is connected with a video recording unit, the fluid flow sensor and a patient state sensor unit connected to a data collection panel. The self-contained radio channel unit is also connected by a bidirectional connection with the infusion speed controller and the data collection panel by the by a bidirectional connection with the portable nurse pager. The data collection panel is connected to an alerter and the computer connected to an Internet interface. A worldwide power supply is connected to the automatic pressure system, the bar code reader, the self-contained radio channel unit, the data collection panel, the alerter, the patient state sensor unit, the computer, the video recording unit, the infusion speed controller and the fluid flow sensor.
