FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely, to methods of plants protection against draught by increasing their draught resistance, and may be used to grow crops in areas of risk farming in conditions of moisture deficit. A method is proposed to protect plants against draught, which includes treatment of a biologically active substance with an aqueous solution. The biologically active substance is hydrogen peroxide in concentration of 5·10-4-1·10-3 M (1.7·10-2-3.4·10-2 g/l). Treatment is applied to either seeds prior to sowing with subsequent drying, or to overground surface of plants at initial stages of vegetation, or both treatments are combined.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to considerably increase survival rate of plants in conditions of moisture deficit.
