FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and aims at perfecting shunting locomotives. Shunting locomotive with engineman cabin and jacket-type body comprises diesel engine with turbo compressor and intake manifold. Besides, second turbo compressor is arranged under jacket between diesel and engineman in series with first turbo compressor, as well as alumina-water parahydrogen generator with parahydrogen discharge line running on hydrolysis on aluminium powder with superheated steam. Said generator comprises system intended for feeding reagents into hydrogen generator and hydrolysis products tank. Note here that parahydrogen discharge line is communicated with second turbo compressor turbine outlet while second turbo compressor turbine outlet is communicated with steam separator inlet. Steam separator hydrogen outlet is communicated with inlet manifold or inlet of first turbo compressor. Steam separator steam outlet is communicated with inlet of first turbo compressor turbine while second turbo compressor outlet is communicated with first turbo compressor inlet.
EFFECT: higher efficiency, reduced harmful emissions.
