FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: method employs integral-scintillation detection of spectral radiation of spectrum excitation source plasma with duration shorter than 0.1 s with continuous successive addition of a powdered sample into the plasma. Analytical conditions are created for simultaneous determination of content of basic and impurity elements in the sample. Forced and random changes in analysis conditions is considered, which, in the same degree, change the value of each spectral periodically accumulated analytical signal during analysis. Conditional content of chemical elements is determined based on these signals using constant calibration curves. Content of chemical elements in the sample is calculated from results of determining conditional content taking into account that the total content of chemical elements in the analytical sample batch must be equal to 100%.
EFFECT: high accuracy of analysis.
