FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to researches of chemical and physical characteristics of a substance. Method of identification, diagnostics and quality control of a substance in which an integral scintillation spectral method of investigation is used with the introduction of a substance into plasma by the "spill-blow-in" method, in which the calculation of the contents of chemical elements in the substance is carried out according to the "relative conditional" content of elements without knowledge of the substance mass. To do this, the contents of the chemical elements of the test substance matrix are compared with the contents of the elements of the reference samples matrices, which are selected from the previously obtained calibration graphs of the graph, constructed on the basis of comparison samples whose matrices are close to the composition of the substance under study matrix. After that, the content of the chemical elements in the matrix, foreign phases of the test substance, its virtual micro-attachments and individual phase particles are calculated using the selected calibration graphs. According to the content of chemical elements in virtual micro-attachments of the substance, element-by-element heterogeneity of the substance is calculated, the number of foreign phase particles in the substance and the percentage ratios of the contents of chemical elements in individual phase particles. After obtaining the calculated characteristics of the test substance by comparing them with the characteristics of known substances, identification, diagnosis and evaluation of the substance under investigation quality are carried out.
EFFECT: technical result consists in increased accuracy and sensitivity of the method for identifying a substance.
