SUBSTANCE: display device 10 includes liquid-crystal panel 11 and lighting device 12. Liquid-crystal panel 11 has liquid-crystal layer 50 between a pair of glass substrates 31 and 41. Lighting device 12 provides light for lighting of liquid-crystal panel 11. Glass substrate 31 has at least coloured section including centre of the hole, which is formed with unbridged oxygen in the area which can block the light in direction of X brightness defect area, which is probable reason of spot defect of brightness.
EFFECT: higher picture quality.
