FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The composition for treating plants and fruits at the vegetation phase or harvested horticultural or plant products contains active substances - adamantane and/or derivatives thereof and cyclopropene and/or 1-alkyl-substituted derivatives. The composition can be clathrates of cyclodextrin and active substances. High yield of horticultural and plant products is achieved by spraying onto the surface of the plants, fruits and vegetables a composition in form of a solution or aqueous suspension of clathrates of cyclodextrin and active substances. Longer storage life of said products is achieved by bringing plant, fruit and vegetable harvest into contact with vapour of active substances of the composition.
EFFECT: invention increases storage life of harvest.
