FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of preparations used for the post-harvest processing of the harvest of fruit and vegetables and other agricultural products in order to increase the shelf life. Preparation for post-harvest processing of fruits and vegetables and agricultural products contains a complex of 1-methylcyclopropene with α-cyclodextrin, carbonates, alkali or alkaline earth metal hydrocarbonates (for example, NaHCO3, CaCO3, K2CO3), polybasic carboxylic acids (e.g., citric, oxalic, malic) and/or acid salts of strong mineral acids (e.g., KHSO4, NaH2PO4), and amides (for example, acetamide, carbamide, propionamide). Release of MCP from the preparation is carried out by contact of the preparation with water or aqueous solutions containing carbonates or carboxylic acids, and/or acid salts of strong mineral acids, and/or amides.
EFFECT: proposed preparation for the post-harvest processing of the harvest of fruits and vegetables and agricultural products reduces the time of production of the MCP from 80 to 30–65 minutes.
