FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used during design of four-cycle internal combustion engines (ICE). ICE includes horizontal cylinders (1, 2) with pistons (3, 4), piston-like stocks (7, 8), crankshaft (17) with piston-rod (14) and pendulum (11). Ends of stocks (7, 8) are hinged to pistons (3, 4) and pendulum (11). Middle part of pendulum (11) is hinged to engine block (13) on axis of cylinders (1, 2). Piston-rod (14) is hinged to pendulum (11). Distance from hinge (9) attaching stock (7) to pendulum (11) to hinge (15) which attaches pendulum (11) to piston-rod (14) is equal to 0 to 0.4 of length of pendulum (11).
EFFECT: higher power of engine, lower flow rate of fuel; piston has the possibility of performing four cycles per one turn of crankshaft.
