FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Vasonometre contains handle, connected with rod, connected with its one end with device for pressure measurement by means of coaxial spring-loaded connecting element and having on the other end tip, provided with site on free end, contacting with patient's eye. Tip is located perpendicularly to rod and is made in form of optic prism with reduced transverse section in direction towards site on free end, contacting with patient's eye and being apex of prism, which is provided in base with site for visual observation of changes taking place in examined superficial vessels of eye scleral envelope during oculocompression.
EFFECT: application of device will make it possible to measure pressure in superficial vessels of eye scleral envelope, smoothly change load on measured vessel and increase accuracy of pressure measurement.
