FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: in separator (1) of particles there is formed specified number of flow cells (4) where in flow (2) of exhaust runs in and/or out through wall zone (13) of corresponding flow cell (4) lateral relative to main direction (x). In lateral zone (13) there is formed at least one accumulating volume (12) for sedimentation of particles (3) from flow (2) of exhaust. Also, sedimentation and intermediate storage of particles take place in accumulating volumes formed with the flow cell proper and separated from flow in the flow cell. Additionally, adjacent flow cells (4) are connected downstream and have at least one common through orifice (10), in particular so, that this common through orifice (10) forms an inlet orifice for one flow cell (4) and an outlet orifice for another adjacent flow cell. Here is disclosed the damper for the exhaust system, wherein there is positioned one separator of particles, and procedure of separation of particles from flow of exhaust in the internal combustion engine.
EFFECT: simple and reliable separation of particles from flow of exhaust.
