FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises radiating sounding signals, receiving and detecting reflected signals, measuring and memorising levels of received signals and beam angular coordinates corresponding to received signals, isolating multiple bursts of each object in received signal, calculating object angular coordinate via estimation of parabolic envelope coefficients of isolated multiple bursts. Proposed device comprises transmitter, antenna switch, antenna, receiver, threshold device, synchroniser, angular coordinate estimator including detected signal memory, multiple bursts detector, computer of parabolic envelope coefficients of isolated multiple bursts and object angular coordinate computer.
EFFECT: faster calculation and higher accuracy.
