SUBSTANCE: vector of received signals is determined using several receiving antennae; channel estimation is performed between each transmitting and receiving antenna and a channel matrix is formed; the order for detecting symbols transmitted by different transmitting antennae Tx is established based on channel status data, and weight coefficients for detecting symbols in the MIMO system are calculated; based on the vector of the received signals, symbols are successively detected in the established order and symbol detection error variance is calculated; a group of the most probable candidate symbols is created from symbol constellation points.
