FIELD: information technologies.

SUBSTANCE: cycle may be performed to collect points of a constellation for each spatial stream in order to get metrics of distance for each stream in a row of sent streams, values of which for other transferred streams may be assessed using a channel MIMO matrix and a suboptimal MIMO logic. Samples of MIMO logics, which may be used there, include the following: detection on the basis of a list for each stream (PSLD), detection on the basis of a reduced lattice and a logic of directional searching among M points. Additional increase of efficiency may be achieved with the help of pre-processing of a channel MIMO matrix and/or by application of methods for enhanced metrics use (EMU).

EFFECT: easy detection of a soft solution for MIMO communication systems.
