SUBSTANCE: base station determines the transmission interval between scheduling requests sent by a mobile station before transmitting data over an uplink, as well as information on radio resources used to send scheduling requests based on state of the mobile station and/or quality of service (QoS) information, transmitted from the mobile station. The mobile station generates scheduling requests; controls transmission of scheduling requests based on the transmission interval and radio resources; and transmits scheduling requests. Also, the base station detects correction based on scheduling requests sent from the mobile station, based on the transmission interval and radio resources, and sends delay information back to the mobile station. The mobile station supports synchronisation based on delay information sent from the base station.

EFFECT: eliminating delays when transmitting data over an uplink.
