FIELD: information technology.
SUBSTANCE: presented user terminal generates uplink control channel containing acknowledgement information and/or channel quality indicator for downlink and transmits uplink control channel in address bandwidth if resources for uplink data channel transmission are not allocated. Uplink control channel contains multiple subframe-forming elementary units each one of which contains sequence generated by multiplying all signal elements of orthogonal code sequence assigned to user terminal by the same multiplier.
EFFECT: increased number of multiplexed users in case when from several user terminals by means of one-carrier circuit uplink control channels are transmitted each one of which includes acknowledgement information for downlink data channel or downlink channel quality indicator, particularly when uplink control channels each one of which contains acknowledgement information represented by one bit are transmitted.
