FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to reversing roll mill. Reversing roll mill comprises at least one roll mill, two roll tables arranged on both sides of said stand, and mill control device. Roll tables have several sections each comprising at least one transfer roll. Note here that transfer rolls of each such section are controlled independently of rolls of other sections. Rolled material is transferred so that material start moves at entry speed (vE) while material finish moves at exit speed (vA). Note here that control device incorporating data carrier with loaded computer program computes entry moment (TE) whereat rolled material at the soonest enters relevant section of roll table and controls transfer rolls to make their peripheral speed (vU) comply at the latest at moment (TE) of entry with entry speed (vE).
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
