FIELD: transport, packing.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises wrapping label material around revolving cylindrical mandrel. Note here that rear end section located at a distance from front end forms clearance before terminating wrapping. Method comprises also revolving said mandrel about second axis. Medium is fed from nozzle in said clearance and rear end section is brought in contact with overlapped section of front end to make label blank to be arranged round casing section. Method of preparing label for sticking differs of said method in that said mandrel is displaced along revolution trajectory in direction coinciding with first direction that pass around second axis located at a distance from mandrel axis. Note here that nozzle is displaced along circular trajectory that comprises larger arc located outside said circular trajectory, and smaller arc that pass along circular trajectory. Proposed device comprises revolving drum with seats accommodating cylindrical mandrel revolving about its axis. It comprises also label material feed device. Said material has front and rear ends. Material is fed on every mandrel that revolves about its axis and around drum axis. Front end stays in contact with mandrel while rear end and cut adjacent second overlap section of cut adjoining said front end to produce clearance. Label preparation device differs from above described device in that it comprises revolving support mechanism to displace the nozzle along circular trajectory over the larger part of circular trajectory. Note here that said circular trajectory runs outside circular trajectory over which mandrel outer surface displaces in revolving about drum axis to interact with cam to move the nozzle along trajectory whereon clearance is located at smaller part of circular trajectory. Methods of forming cup and article, said nozzle is displaced similarly to its displacement in label sticking device.

EFFECT: reduced losses, higher efficiency and quality.
