FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: what is offered is a method for prediction of clinical outcomes of head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) represented by manifesting recurrent tumour and lymphogenic metastases in the HNSCC patients. It involves immune-enzyme analysis of pre-treatment blood serum "ММП"-2, "ММП"-9, "ТИМП"-1 and "ТИМП"-2 levels, and if the "ММП"-9 exceeds 550 ng/ml, and "ТИМП"-1 level exceeds 230 ng/ml, decrease in total and recurrence-free 2-year-old survival rate is predicted; if observing the "ТИМП"-2 level more than 120 ng/ml, and the "ММП"-2 level more than 250 ng/ml in addition to said values, high probability of metastases is predicted.
EFFECT: method allows high-precise and informative prediction of the clinical outcomes of head and neck squamous cell carcinomas.
