FIELD: power industry.
SUBSTANCE: lock of reactor safety rod, which retains it in active zone in emergency situations, is located in middle part of safety rod and includes fastener with two-sided stops. Fastener is arranged on rotation axis relative to safety rod body and has inclined slot relative to rod. Fastener is connected by means of flexible power link to electromechanical drive. Spring-loaded pusher with roller in inclined slot of fastener is located between safety rod body and fastener. On inner surface of casing in which safety rod moves a bore is made in the zone where safety rod is fixed, and elastic stop is made on the casing end opposite to the drive.
EFFECT: reducing weight of reactor block and increasing safety by retaining safety rod in reactor active zone at its burn-out in case of atmospheric penetration.
