FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: design of the ultra-wideband horn antenna uses a waveguide-to-coaxial adapter in form of a short line with an outer conductor having an inner surface which is a non-symmetric rectangular step structure whose steps are covered in the lower part by strips of radar absorbent material, and with an eccentric tapering rectangular inner conductor. A dielectric lens with a polarisation array is placed in the horn mouth.
EFFECT: high coefficient of overlapping the operating band of the antenna and small size and weight of the antenna.
