FIELD: antenna equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, in particular to horn antennas operating in a continuous range of ultra-high (UHF) and extremely high (EHF) frequencies. To increase the working frequency band in the UHF and EHF bands, while simplifying the design and improving the manufacturability in a horn antenna, containing a pyramidal horn of rectangular cross section and an excitatory waveguide-coaxial junction attached thereto, the latter is made using a waveguide with a double ridge of variable height and a piston with a short closing wall in the form of a dihedral angle instead of flat.
EFFECT: increase in the working frequency band in the UHF and EHF bands.
