FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine, namely to neurosurgery. During endovascular operation 50 mg of hepaspheres with size 200-400 mcm are mixed for 10 minutes with physiological solution, non-ionic contrast substance and anticonvulsant with total volume 10 ml. After that, into selected for embolisation vessel AVM superselectively introduced is created embolisate. Treatment is carried out under dynamic control of brain bioelectric activity.
EFFECT: method ensures increase of treatment efficiency, achieved due to direct delivery of anticonvulsant straight into brain and creation of prolonged depot of anticonvulsive preparation.
