FIELD: medicine, sport.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to sport, sports equipment applied for sportsmen training, specifically jump ropes. A jump rope has handles and a flexible element with said flexible element comprising a cavity along the full length of the flexible element. A thin flexible high-tensile rope runs in the cavity of the flexible element. Then each end of this rope sequentially runs in passages in three locks and in a ring of a pivot attached on the end face of the jump rope handle. Thereafter the rope end oppositely runs in the passage in the lock adjoining the pivot and attached on the middle lock. The length adjustment of the jump rope is provided as follows. A lock button adjoining the jump rope handle shall be pressed. A portion of the rope travels in the passage in this lock (in one or opposite direction) according as the jump rope is to become longer or shorter. This lock is then moved to the pivot, and the button is released. Then the middle lock button shall be pressed, and the lock shall be moved so that both rope branches extending from the lock adjoining said handle are tensed equally. The middle lock button is released. Then (if needed) the same procedure is performed for the lock buttons and the rope adjoining the second handle. A portion of the rope extended in the flexible element shall be tensed (for checked for tension).

EFFECT: enabled immediate length adjustment of the jump rope and initial length recovery.
