FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport and aims at increasing efficiency of electric power supply. Proposed system comprises transformer stations, power supply lines, rail circuits, sectionalisation station, lengthwise and crosswise capacitive compensation units, line of communication between train dispatcher and power dispatcher, circuit analysis and selection units. Transformer stations are interconnected via power lines connected to power transformers and, via distribution devices, with rail circuits and direct suspensions. Crosswise capacitive compensation units have their one inputs connected to connection points of direct suspension sections to lengthwise capacitive compensation units of transformer stations and other inputs connected to rail circuits. Rail circuits are connected to transformer station distribution devices via lengthwise capacitive units. Power dispatcher is connected via power lines with transformer stations and lengthwise and crosswise capacitive compensation units. Circuit analysis unit is connected via communication lines with circuit selection unit, train dispatcher and power dispatcher.
EFFECT: power savings, normal operation of traction circuit.
