DISPOSABLE PULSE OXYHEMOMETRE Russian patent published in 2011 - IPC A61B5/1455 A61B5/00

Abstract RU 2428112 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to pulse oxyhemometres, as well as to methods of their manufacturing. One of versions of oxyhemometre implementation is single-piece disposable applicator for measurement of level of saturation of patient's blood with oxygen, which contains light-emitter, light-detector, electronic circuit, inbuilt into said applicator fixation mechanism, located on applicator in order to make it possible for said applicator to be fixed to patient. By means of electronic circuit work of said light-emitter and light-detector is performed as well as by data obtained from light-detector at least level of saturation of patient's blood with oxygen is calculated. Another version of implementation is oxyhemometre, which contains applicator with different layers, made with possibility of being fixed to patient, light-emitter and light-detector, each of which is inbuilt into said applicator, electronic circuit, inbuilt into layer of electronic circuits of said applicator, for realisation of light-emitter and light-detector work and for calculation by data obtained from light-detector of at least level of saturation of patient's blood with oxygen, and fixation mechanism, located on applicator in order to make it possible for said applicator to be fixed to patient. Light-detector detects light from said light-emitter passing through or reflected from patient. For oxyhemometre manufacturing obtained is flexible applicator, made with possibility of being fixed to patient, light-emitter and light-detector are mounted on it and their combined work is ensured in such a way that light-detector detects light from light-emitter, passing through or reflected from patient, and data, related to at least level of saturation of patient's blood with oxygen, are obtained, electronic circuit is mounted in applicator and fixation mechanism is provided on applicator in order to make it possible for said applicator to be fixed to patient in detachable way.

EFFECT: application of group of inventions extends arsenal of technical means intended for measurement of physiological parameters, for instance, level of blood saturation with oxygen.
