SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to surgery and can be used in anastomosis check up. Instrument contains handle and rod, connected to handle. Rod contains external surface, proximal end, distal end. Distal end of rod contains, at least, two inflatable elements, adjoining external surface. At least, two inflatable elements are located with interval in order to make it possible to place, at least, one inflatable element from, at least, two inflatable elements on the first side of anastomosis and to place another, at least, one inflatable element from, at least, two inflatable element on the second side of anastomosis. Tube is made with possibility to transport medium under pressure into, at least, one from, at least, two inflatable elements. Element of insufflation is made with possibility to transport medium under pressure to place of anastomosis. Described is the second version of surgical instrument, characterised by application of mechanism of ring extension, and method of anastomosis checkup, realised with application of versions of surgical instrument.
EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to check place of anastomosis with the same device, which is used for anastomotic ring extension.
