SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surgery and can be used for performing operations on digestive system. Surgical instrument or device for application of unfolding anastomotic ring contains handle, connected with elongated rod, which ends with mechanism of anastomotic ring unfolding. In order to prevent capture of tissue into mechanism of ring unfolding during instrument insertion and removal envelope is provided. Envelope is made with possibility to include mechanism of ring unfolding during insertion and removal. Envelope has possibility to move together with mechanism of ring unfolding from uninvolved position into set in action position. Envelope can contain highly elastic material, thread sheath or other material.
EFFECT: instrument ensures reduction of probability of tissue capture by mechanism of ring unfolding in device, but does not obligatorily require time and mechanism for removal of envelope from device fingers.
