SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine and can be used in operations on digestive system. Surgical instrument for application of anastomosis ring device contains handle, which is connected with mechanism of anastomosis ring spreading with elongated rod. Instrument also contains executive mechanism, which is made with possibility to apply working effort to mechanism of ring spreading for spreading of anastomosis ring. In one version of implementation, executive mechanism applies compressing effort for spreading anastomosis ring by means of movement to each other of opposite ends of ring spreading mechanism. Executive mechanism can contain spring or other elastic element able to move from first position into second position for bringing into action of ring spreading mechanism. Mechanism is functionally intended for holding spring in first position, and allows spring to move into second position in response to input action of user. Mechanism is functionally intended for spring displacement.
