FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ecological and fire safety, particularly, to thermo magnetic separation. Method and device exploit nanotechnologies and field gradients implemented in air channels to separate air into oxygen and nitrogen with other gases. Method uses oxygen property of being pulled into strong magnetic field and nitrogen properties of being pushed from strong magnetic field. Nanoweb with pore diameter on nitrogen zone approximating to 1 mm and decreasing to carbon dioxide gas molecule diameter toward oxygen zone is arranged in the channel on sides with magnets at distance of 21% of channel height to preserve the difference in their concentration. Magnets are arranged outside while cooling modules are arranged inside screw circle wherein rectangular channel is screwed to make tube-like separator to coiled into coil, torus, pitched torus etc.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of separation.
