FIELD: power industry.

SUBSTANCE: cold source includes heat insulating chamber for arrangement of ice and heat exchange channel provided with possibility of movement of cooled working medium through it. Chamber is made in the form of cavity in the ground, mainly in its seasonable frost zone which is equipped with heat insulating covering. Wells are made in the ice volume of chamber with possibility of arranging the heat exchange channel in them, which is made in the form of tubular housing in the cavity of which air line is arranged; lower section of the above air line has the possibility of telescopic extension and is equipped with air dispergator supported on the well bottom. Immediately before telescopic section there is arranged ejecting insert made in the form of smoothly shaped constriction of air line. On outer surface of tubular housing there fixed is water collector made in the form of conic apron from flexible material the upper end of which is pressed by means of elastic ring to surface of tubular housing, and lower end is pressed to the wall of well by means of elastic annular framework fixed on surface of tubular housing. Lower section of cavity of water collector is connected to cavity of air line by siphons made in the form of flexible tubes equipped with U-shaped bend oriented downwards, the outlet holes of which are arranged in section of ejecting insert. Tubular housing is perforated above water collector. Air collector is connected to air discharge channel of cooling system. Gap between surface of the well and tubular housing is connected to air supply channel of cooling system. Use of this invention allows intensifying heat exchange processes between melt water of snow-ice massif and cooled air by separating the plenum and exhaust air in the well space, which leads to increase in cooling efficiency.

EFFECT: cold source can be used as environmentally safe clean cold source, and electric power consumptions for air medium cooling are reduced.
