FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of producing a humic derivative, involving preparation of a starting humic substance, preferably extracted from leonardite, and reaction of the humic substance in the medium of an organic solvent with alkoxy silane selected from: 3-aminopropyltrialkoxy silane or 3-glycide oxypropyl trialkyl silane or 3-isocyanatopropyl trialkoxy silane, followed by separation of the obtained substance from the solvent and drying. The invention also discloses scavengers which contain the humic substance obtained using the described method, and use thereof for sorption.

EFFECT: improved properties of the derivatives.
