METHOD FOR SUPPRESSING METHANOGENESIS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC C05F17/10 C02F11/148

Abstract RU 2780349 C2

FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. A method is proposed for suppressing methanogenesis that develops under the action of anaerobic methanogenic consortia of cells of microorganisms producing biogas in media, including the introduction of potassium humate modified with naphthoquinone (A), potassium persulfate (B), the enzyme polyhistidine-containing organophosphahydrolase (C) and the antimicrobial substance bacitracin (D) so that their final concentrations in the medium are, respectively, for A - 2-5 g/l, for B - 2-5 g/l, for C - 2-4 mg/l, for D - 25-100 mg/l, and their introduction into the treated media to suppress methanogenesis is carried out in a wet form, obtained after their dissolution in buffer inorganic solutions with a pH of 7.5-10.5.

EFFECT: invention provides suppression of biogas accumulation and reduction of the proportion of methane in it and can be used to regulate and control the intensity of the methanogenesis process in industrial biogas plants.
