FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: hydro-pneumatic riveting tool consists of hydraulically controlled gripping devices, of hydraulic inlet channel for supply of working fluid medium, sealing section around inlet channel, of device for return of gripping devices into initial position and of barrier for unidirectional flow of working fluid medium. The barrier is set for restricting flow of working fluid medium at rivet shank drawing. The hydraulic barrier consists of a movable element located in a path of the flow of working fluid medium adjacent to the inlet channel. The movable element has internal surface interacting with the sealing section around the inlet channel to create a sealing packing. The movable element has an inlet of the element, an outlet of the element and an orifice between the inlet and outlet of the element; also, working fluid medium flows through the orifice when the movable elements is in a sealing position. Additionally, the movable element decreases flow rate of working fluid medium between the inlet of the element and its outlet. Also, there is disclosed the movable element used in the said riveting tool.
EFFECT: prevention of erosion in susceptible to it parts of tool.
