FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: device for fabrication of wound packings consists of case, of shed winding mechanism and of separating mechanism. The case contains a set of round spools. The spools rotate around the case. The set of spools includes spindles for packing support. Each spindle rotates around axis pulling out and simultaneously winding at least two rovings. Shed winding mechanism is equipped with a runner. The runner facilitates laying rovings separated one from another on surface of a wound packing. The mechanism for separation can be in the first and second position. Rovings coming out from a draw plate to the runner are separated from each other in the first position. In the second position the separation mechanism does not interfere with motion of rovings.
EFFECT: at fabrication of packings each spindle is successively at stage of unloading or at stage of packing winding.
