FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: balanced component is fixed in metal processing machine (lathe or milling) and there is cut circular slot in plane of correction by means of metal cutting machine. Width and depth of the slot is determined by calculation. Removed weight of metal facilitates elimination of unbalance. Further, the component is placed into a balancing machine. By results of balancing weight of the component is corrected by putting required correcting weight in form of loads into a circular slot.

EFFECT: elimination of dependency of balance accuracy from free space for addition of load at simultaneous reduction of time for balancing process.
