FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: different sections of optical part sections are irradiated by pulse laser beam with irregular radiation intensity in radiation spot, surface destruction sources in spot are recorded, radiation distribution in spot and minimum intensity corresponding to boundary of destruction zone in each spot are defined. Said irradiation is performed in amount necessary for producing statistically representative sampling of minimum intensities corresponding to boundary of destruction zone in each spot sufficient for plotting density of surface destruction probability. Obtained density of surface destruction probability is approximated by analytical function, while radiation strength is determined by calculations.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determination, higher reliability and lower labor input.
