FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment, namely to a system for detection gingivitis, using diffuse reflection spectroscopy. System (100) contains light emitter (102), four photodetectors (110, 112, 114, 116) sensitive to a wavelength, amplifiers, a gingivitis detection unit. The light emitter is made for light emission on an area of tissue (104) in the user’s mouth. Photodetectors are made for detection of optical signals diffuse reflected through the area of tissue. Each photodetector contains filter (BPF1, BPF2, BPF3, and BPF4) for obtaining required spectral bands, and photodiode (D1, D2, D3, and D4). Photodiodes are located in a stack one above the other for generation of current differential signals for removal of an undesired component from optical signals. Amplifiers correspond to photodiodes. The gingivitis detection unit is made for reception of output signals from amplifiers and detection of gingivitis in the area of tissue.

EFFECT: system for detection of gingivitis, using diffuse reflection spectroscopy, is provided.
