SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to orthopaedics, and can be used for traction therapy in extension of separate human body areas, particularly various spinal segments, pelvic region, etc. in various diseases, posttraumatic and postload changes and spinal and locomotor deformations, hemorrhoids, etc., and also for post-exercise rest and relaxation and orthopaedic furniture design. An orthopaedic traction device for extension of human body areas comprising a number of springs grouped with support surfaces of the springs of various groups reversely displaced under load differing by the fact that the springs represent single Z-elements.
EFFECT: enabled adjustment of the elements of the device for extension of the specified human body areas with considering individual characteristics, anatomic features and nidus localisation, and also enabled elimination of single elements of the traction devices to prevent a contact with human body areas with an injured surface.
